    Arabic Calligraphy Course for Adults – In Person & Online

    Start your Arabic calligraphy journey with Islamic Artist and calligrapher Muhammad Waqas. Learn about the history of Islamic Art and its evolution. In this in-person beginner course of Arabic calligraphy script “Thuluth”, Waqas will introduce you to all the Arabic letters and how they should be written with their correct proportions and scales. Learn about the rich history and significance behind Arabic calligraphy, using a traditional bamboo pen and dot system to form words on the page. Waqas begins by introducing the types of tools and paper needed for the course. Practice with some drawing exercises to warm up and explore the basic shapes that are the foundation for creating any letter. Let’s embark on this journey together and discover your hidden talent and your connection between hand and heart when you practice Arabic calligraphy.

    Age group: 15+ Course duration: 6 weeks Class duration: 1 class per week for 90 minutes Class delivery: First & last class will be In-Person and remaining classes will be online Course material: Provided (included in course fee) When: Every Saturday 8 November to 13 December 2025 9am-10:30am Where: Noor Arts Studio Wollert, VIC 3750 Participants: Up to 15 students Project: We'll work on an Islamic Art project in the last class and students will take-away an Islamic Art piece at the end of last class. Note:
    1. This course is for both Male and Females
    2. Calligraphy material will be provided in the first class. InShaAllah!
    3. After you have purchased this course, you will receive the registration form by email. Please complete and submit the form asap.
    4. Please mention your name in reference when making the payment.
    5. If there are insufficient registrations, we may not be able to conduct the course and we will refund the money.
    6. The fee will be fully refundable if we are unable to deliver the course due to any unforeseen circumstances
    7. If you want to withdraw from the course prior to the commencement of course, you can withdraw one week before start of the course. We will deduct $25 admin fee and refund the balance amount.

    Arabic Calligraphy Course for Children – In Person

    We have designed this special In Person course for children with no prior knowledge of writing Arabic alphabets. We will teach the kids how to write Arabic alphabets using traditional bamboo Qalam. Homework will be given in each class, so students can practice at home. If your children have prior knowledge of writing Arabic, they can polish their skills and write more beautifully. InShaAllah Let’s embark on this journey together and discover the hidden talent of your children when they practice Arabic calligraphy. InShaAllah.
